The JAC N200 belongs to the class of medium-tonnage trucks designed for various commercial short-, medium- and long-distance transportation. Due to the large mounting length of the frame, the chassis has extensive capabilities for installing various special add-ons.
The permissible gross weight of the JAC N200 is 19980 kg, the load capacity of the chassis is 13565 — 13750 kg. The JAC N200 features a simple and reliable design, cost-effectiveness, and good performance. The car is available in Russia with three wheelbase options: short (4,200 mm), medium (5,300 mm) and long (6,300 mm). The length of the Short version is 7632 mm, Normal — 9250 mm, Long – 10550 mm. The width and height are 2522 and 3048 mm, respectively.
The JAC N200 is equipped with a modern cabin with a sleeping place designed for three people. The standard equipment ensures the comfort of the driver's workplace. The list of equipment includes an air suspension seat, tilt-and-out steering column, cruise control system, air conditioning, and a USB radio. The car is also equipped with heated rear-view mirrors, electric windows and a central locking system. Safety systems include ABS, ASR, ESC, and auxiliary brakes.
The car is equipped with a 6.7-liter turbodiesel ISD285 50 Euro-5 standard. The unit develops a power of 271 hp at 2500 rpm, a torque of 1006 Nm at 1200-1800 rpm. An eight-speed manual transmission is installed in the transmission. The suspension of all wheels is dependent spring, the rear axle is equipped with a stabilizer bar.
The JAC N200 is adapted for use in Russian conditions, and already has an impressive set of special equipment as standard. The "winter package" includes a heated fuel filter, a dehumidifier, a high-performance cabin heater, frost-resistant rubber parts, additional cabin insulation, a heating element of the 220V engine oil sump, and a heating element of the 220V engine heat exchanger. A closed battery box and lower engine and gearbox protection are also installed.
A power take-off box, a pre-start liquid heater, a tachograph and a cap spoiler can be offered as an option.
