The MKG-40 is an assembly crane with a diesel–electric crawler power plant for handling loads up to 40 tons. It is successfully used in industry and on construction sites. The crane is equipped with a boom of 15.8 m, with the help of replaceable sections, it is extended to 35.8 m with the possibility of installing a rigid track with a length of 6 m. It is also equipped with a tower boom of 30.8 m with a maneuverable jib of 10, 15, 20, 25 m. Sliding crawler, increases stability, and reduces size during transportation. A 60kW diesel generator set is connected to an external 50Hz 380V source.
