Specifications
In the assembly unit 25.03.00.000, the cast drive wheel 25.03.00.011 is the main element. It connects to the output shaft of the gearbox of the DEK-251 crane movement mechanism and is "responsible" for moving the track from its side of the running gear (right or left). The drive wheel 25.03.00.011, or "asterisk", is made of a high–strength, wear-resistant alloy of 35GL carbon steel with the addition of manganese ferroalloys. After casting and removing the spigots, the product undergoes annealing, then normalization, tempering, then mechanical processing, when grooves are cut on the inner mounting surface for future shaft slots, and finally surface heat treatment. When assembling the drive wheel, on the one hand it is connected by a spline connection to the shaft, on the other there will be a cover that protects the mechanism from contamination and other environmental influences in which the crane operates.
The reasons for replacing the drive wheel of the DEK-251 crawler crane are usually wear on the surface that must adhere to the caterpillar links, cracks and chips on the ridges and spokes of the wheel, and wear on the slots on the inner landing surface that occur during years of intensive operation.
Attention: only a large manufacturing company that has all the necessary production facilities for casting, heat treatment and machining, and which has been carrying out this process for years, can properly perform the entire manufacturing process of the drive wheel of the DEK-251 crawler crane. Buy only original spare parts from the manufacturer of the DEK-251 machine from his Mashservice dealer.
