We are proud to present the Foton R, an updated modification of the well–proven Foton A model. Without undergoing significant changes in the exterior appearance, this car has significantly added to the comfort of the driver's workspace, increased power line capacity, improved fuel efficiency, safety and adaptation of the tractor to the needs of domestic customers.
Foton R can be ordered in versions with high and low cabs, as well as for the transportation of dangerous goods (ADR, according to all international ADR standards).

The latest engine
The ISG12 engine has a high torque at low rpm, with a volume of 11.8 liters, a maximum power of 490 hp, and a maximum torque of 2,300 Nm. Having the most common engine displacement among modern European and American trucks, the power characteristics of the ISG12 are higher.
CHECKPOINT
The gearbox with a maximum gear ratio of 16.69, as well as its precise calibration for various driving conditions, provide 3-5% higher fuel efficiency than a conventional manual gearbox. The intelligent TraXon gearbox control system collects information about driving conditions, adapts to them, and minimizes the number of switches. This allows you to reduce the requirements for driving skills, reduce the cost of staff training.
The third-generation TraXon gearbox has an aluminum alloy crankcase. Compact, with a coaxial clutch release mechanism, it provides fast and gentle gear shifting.
The world's most advanced gear manufacturing technologies make it possible to achieve high load-bearing capacity while maintaining smooth running. The precision of the machining and the pressure lubrication system ensure a high service life of the gearbox. The service life exceeds 1.6 million kilometers.
Easy to maintain
The Foton R cabin has an electric mechanism for tilting the cabin at an angle of 70°. The engine has an inline vertical cylinder layout. This ensures easy maintenance of the units in the engine compartment.
When using special lubricants, the oil change time at the checkpoint reaches 240,000 km or every 2 years.
When using fuel with a sulfur content of less than 15 ppm, the engine oil is changed at intervals of 90,000 km or 2,000 motorcycle hours, or every 18 months.
The number of parts in the ISG engine is 30% less than in most similar engines from other manufacturers, which ensures easy disassembly and assembly, as well as reduces repair time.
Cost-effectiveness
The plastic-made engine valve cover and oil pan, along with the use of the latest materials and innovative manufacturing technologies, reduced the weight of the engine by 300 kg.
The modern injection system makes it possible to achieve the most complete combustion of fuel in the cylinders, which reduces consumption by 2-3 liters per 100 km.
At 70% of its power characteristics, the engine provides a specific fuel consumption of less than 200 g/kWh.
Comfort
The cabin, equipped with a 4-point air suspension, has a large interior space and a comfortable interior, is more comfortable compared to competitors of the same class. The thickness of the 2 cm layer of sound insulation material provides maximum protection from external sound stimuli.
