The drilling rig platform is mounted on a new BMG all-terrain vehicle chassis. At the request of the customer, it is possible to install the URB platform on the MTLBU conversion chassis.
The installation has a moving rotator with a hydraulic drive, which is used in the drilling process, building up the drilling tool without detaching it from the face and performs, together with the hydraulic lift, the work of lowering and lifting the tool and feeding it during drilling. The power and kinematics of the rotator also ensure the screwing up and unscrewing of drill pipes, as a result of which there is no need for special mechanisms for this purpose.
Launching and lifting operations and the supply of drilling tools to the bottom of the well are carried out using a hydraulic feed cylinder, which ensures optimal pressure at the bottom, including when drilling with pneumatic hammers and allows highly efficient drilling in rocks of any strength.
The control of the installation is fully hydrofected, including the lifting and lowering of the mast, and is concentrated on the driller's console, which houses operational controls and instruments for monitoring the drilling process. The power take-off for the drilling rig mechanisms is performed from the vehicle's transmission through a power take-off box connected by a gimbal transmission to the transfer case of the installation. A drilling pump or compressor, two axial piston pumps and one gear pump are driven from the transfer case. One of the axial piston pumps feeds the rotary hydraulic motor, the second one feeds the rotary hydraulic jack. The gear pump feeds the hydraulic jack for lifting the mast and the hydraulic jack for moving the rotator when feeding the tool to the face.
