The LiuGong 4180D is equipped with a frame with an increased angle of rotation of the front wheels (up to ±50°), while the folding angle of the frame is ± 27°. The grader can now operate in more cramped conditions, as the turning radius has been reduced to 7.2 m.
Increased ground clearance: 60 cm
The LiuGong 4180D motor grader is equipped with a new pentagonal cabin (previously it was hexagonal). By reducing the number of racks, the operator's view has increased. Now the middle blade and the front wheels come into the driver's field of view. It is also worth noting that the cabin is equipped with a new steering column with a variable tilt angle and a comfortable seat with various adjustments.
Previously, the fuel and oil tank necks were located on top of the hood, but now maintenance and refueling are carried out from ground level. Access to the main nodes and aggregates has also been improved. Now the wider hood rises up automatically using an electric hydraulic drive (previously, the engine compartment lid consisted of two parts and opened manually in different directions). Note that the volume of the fuel tank is 348 liters, and the hydraulic fluid tank holds 165 liters.
