Due to the fact that the cantilever crane is installed permanently, for its full operation it is necessary to have transport equipment with which the vessels will be transported to the storage sites. Specifications
Cantilever cranes are used for lifting boats, yachts and other small vessels in yacht ports, marinas, yacht clubs and other enterprises. The use of such ship-lifting equipment is optimal in conditions of a shortage of space near the water, when it is difficult to place a full-fledged slip or dock. The lifting capacity of the crane can range from 5 to 80 tons.
A cantilever crane for lifting boats and yachts is a steel column mounted on a mooring structure or embankment, in the upper part of which there is a boom capable of 360° rotation. The boom reach, the height of lifting and lowering the slings below the zero mark are determined based on the customer's request.
Such a crane can have 1 or 4 lifting points. Each lifting point is equipped with a winch. The standard winches are electrically driven, and hydraulic winches can be installed on request.
Cranes with 1 lifting point are usually of low lifting capacity (5-10 tons), and special devices or traverses must be used to lift the vessel with their help.
Cranes with 4 lifting points have cross beams on the boom, on which the lifting points are placed. They have the ability to move symmetrically along the beams to enable the lifting of vessels of various lengths. The winches can operate synchronously or independently, which allows the vessel to be positioned both longitudinally and transversely.
The boom of the crane is rotated using a geared motor, specially designed to minimize the effect of a pendulum at the beginning of the turn and stop when the boat is on the slings.
The crane is powered by a 400 V 50 Hz mains. The crane is controlled using a remote radio control or a wired remote control. There is an emergency shutdown button on the column.
The lifting of the vessel using a cantilever crane is as follows: the boom of the crane rotates to the "above water" position, the winches lower the slings into the water. The vessel is positioned above the slings, and lifted out of the water by winches. The boom of the crane, together with the raised vessel, rotates to the "above shore" position, and the vessel is lowered onto keel blocks or racks, or is moved to a trailer for transportation.
Due to the fact that the cantilever crane is installed permanently, for its full operation it is necessary to have transport equipment with which the vessels will be transported to the storage sites. These can be trailers, keel blocks on wheels, but the optimal solution is to use a cantilever crane in conjunction with a self-propelled trailer of the MBT type, or a towed trailer of the CT type.
