CLS Gantry lifts

CLS type pneumatic wheeled gantry lifts are used on construction sites for lifting and transporting large and heavy objects of various geometries and mass characteristics – beams of superstructures, bridge structures, metal structures, reinforced concrete products, blocks for modular housing, building materials, tunneling boards and other mechanisms and equipment. The lifting capacity of such cranes can range from 15 to 1000 tons, depending on the tasks being solved.
A self-propelled gantry crane of the CLS type is a spatial frame with one or two arches mounted on wheels with pneumatic tires. The dimensions of the crane – span, height under the hook, wheelbase – are determined according to the customer's technical specifications and dimensional restrictions. There are lifting points on the arches, which can be from 1 to 4. They can move along the arches using cargo trolleys. The cargo is lifted using one, two or four hydraulically operated winches, which can operate independently or synchronously. Lifting points can be equipped with hooks or other equipment. The crane can be equipped with specialized traverses and lifting devices, including manually and hydraulically adjustable ones; automatic ones that do not require additional personnel to sling cargo.
The lift has a diesel-hydraulic drive, the diesel engine and hydraulic equipment are located in the engine compartment located under one of their longitudinal beams. The crane is moved using hydraulic motors built into the wheel gearboxes. The drive is carried out on 2 or 4 wheels, the maximum slope to be overcome is 4% as standard, and the travel speed is up to 10 km/h. The steering is self-correcting on all wheels, which allows for good maneuverability and a long tire life. Electronic steering is available as an option, which significantly improves maneuverability and allows you to perform the following maneuvers: turning the front /rear /all wheels, turning all wheels 90°, crab stroke 45°, carousel stroke. A diesel-electric crane can be manufactured on request.
The crane is controlled by a remote radio control. A wired remote control can be used as an emergency. It is also possible to control the functions of the crane using levers located directly on the distributor. To protect against adverse weather conditions, an enclosed cabin with a comfortable operator's chair, heater and air conditioner can be installed as an option. The crane is equipped with an automatic overload protection system that interrupts the operation of the equipment when the load capacity is exceeded. A remote diagnostic system is included as standard, allowing the manufacturer's specialists to monitor and adjust the machine's operating parameters without going to the place of operation.
To expand the range of tasks performed, CLS cranes have the ability to work in pairs, the so-called tandem operation, obeying commands from a single radio control panel. At the same time, both cranes are used to work with heavy and bulky loads, and for small loads they can be used separately, each fulfilling its own task.
Unlike rail cranes, such a lift has the ability to move throughout the construction site, including entering buildings. This solution makes it possible to dispense with the placement of crane rails and the laying of additional high-voltage networks, which reduces the overall load on the power system. This makes it possible to significantly expand the range of tasks performed by the machine and reduce the number of lifting and transport equipment necessary for the full functioning of the construction site.
