RGC Gantry Cranes

Gantry cranes are used in warehouses, construction sites, hydraulic structures and hydroelectric power plants, slipways of shipbuilding enterprises Such cranes can perform a wide range of lifting and transport operations. They are divided into transshipment, construction and installation, as well as special ones, for example, for work on hydraulic structures. The lifting capacity of gantry cranes varies widely and can range from 1 to 1000 tons or more.
A gantry crane consists of one or two beams mounted on supports that move along rails located on the work site. One or two cargo trolleys mounted on the main beam are used for the transverse movement of the load. Lifting winches are located on the trolleys. The crane has an electric drive and is powered by an industrial network. The crane can be controlled using a remote radio control, a wired remote control or a stationary remote control. The stationary remote control is usually located in the cabin, which protects the operator from adverse weather conditions.
