The gravel-sand mixture C1 has a fraction of 0-40 mm. This means that there are no grains larger than 40 millimeters in diameter, and their content in the total volume is no more than 10% of the total volume of the mixture. Since this building material is often used for laying road surfaces and foundations, the volume of dust particles in it is also no more than 10%.

The properties of the C1 grade are determined by the characteristics of the crushed stone. Usually, crushed stone with frost resistance F300 is used, which can be stored almost indefinitely regardless of temperature and humidity. And due to the small fraction, the mixture is perfectly rolled by any roller and is easy to use.

As a result, the road surfaces are as smooth as possible. Even an unpaved road can be made with the help of an embankment of SHCHPS fr. 0-40, and the surface will be comfortable enough for driving on almost any transport.
