The sorting unit consists of a screen and a metal structure. The metal structure consists of a base with supports, a welded support frame, service platforms, and stairs for entering service platforms. The screen is mounted on a support frame. A hopper is installed under the screen, and at the end of the screen box there is a distributor, hoses and a receiver for removing the material sorted by fractions. The material is supplied for sorting through a loading hopper located in the upper part of the screen. The sorted material is discharged through hoses and a hopper.
Sorting units can be manufactured for floating mining and processing plants for installation on a barge for processing a sand-gravel mixture of river basins.
