Supply of river sand

River sand is the most popular building material. It has been formed for thousands of years, and its reserves are inexhaustible, because water still flushes out rocks and minerals from the earth, accumulating insoluble sediment. In riverbeds, it continues to affect small grains, grinding off their sharp edges and removing organic matter. As a result, layers of pure silicate sand are formed on the bottom without impurities and with a homogeneous fractional composition.

Features and Specifications

If the sand is river sand, it does not initially need complex cleaning: sifting on sieves to remove debris or washing. The most that remains to be done is to dry it and divide it into fractions. The output is a mass of gray or yellow tint with a more or less homogeneous composition. It contains 50-95% SiO2, and the more it is, the lighter the material will be. But depending on the deposit, other minerals may be included here besides quartz.
