Milled peat

Milled peat is a natural material regulated by Gost R 51661.3-2000 "Peat for soil improvement" without the inclusion of foreign contaminants in it. This type of product is produced from the initial array as a result of milling layer-by-layer mining of peat deposits. As a result of mechanical processing by milling the upper layer of the massif, in this case it is required to obtain raw materials that would dry most intensively in specific weather conditions, stirring the treated layer ensures loosening and ventilation of products, rolling the dried raw materials – the processed peat chips are rolled into rollers when using special equipment.

As a result of the production and technological process, this non-metallic building material has the following physical and mechanical properties:

1. Average bulk density 0.8 t/m3;

2. Shelf life: unlimited, subject to the conditions of storage and transportation;

3. The degree of heterogeneity of the granulometric composition of the Cu soil, the soils are homogeneous;

4. The content of foreign contaminants by weight is 7 %;

5. The specific effective activity of natural radionuclides is 3 ± 11 Bq/kg.

6. Acidity, pH unit is not less than 4.6 pH units

7. Ash content, % not more than equal to 14 %

This non-metallic material is widely used in the following types of work::

1. Improvement of soil structure, use as a fertile layer;

2. Landscaping.

Peat is a biologically pure material that does not contain pathogens, weed seeds and is safe for use in agriculture. When plants are grown using peat, there is no accumulation of dangerous substances in the soil.
