Gravel fraction 20+, GOST 8269.0-97

Gravel fraction 20+ is a natural non-metallic building material, not regulated by GOST, consisting of gravel without the inclusion of foreign contaminants in it. This type of product is made from raw materials, a sand-gravel mixture with a gravel content in the sand by weight from 30% to 50%, as a result of its enrichment. The technological process of enriching (sorting) the feedstock, namely the sand-gravel mixture, is carried out using processing equipment. At this stage, clay and pulverized particles are washed out of the feedstock, granulometric fractions of sand and foreign contaminants are removed, and gravel is divided into fractions.

As a result of production and technological processes, this non-metallic building material has the following physical and mechanical properties:

1. Bulk density, equal to 1500 kg/m3;

2. The frost resistance grade is F200;

3. The grade of crushing capacity is 1000;

4. The content of foreign contaminants by weight is 0.00%;

5. The specific effective activity of radionuclides is 27.27+-3.44 Bq/kg.

This non-metallic construction material is widely used in the following types of work::
