PGS (gravel content up to 10%)

A sand-gravel mixture (with a gravel content of up to 10%) is a natural non–metallic building material that is not regulated by Standards and GOST standards, consisting of sand with a gravel content of up to 10% by weight. This type of product is produced by hydro in a mechanized manner using a C-42 type dredger by extracting the top layer of a sand-gravel mixture with a low gravel content, as well as washing this mixture with a large amount of water to remove pulverized and clay particles. As a result of production and technological processes, this non-metallic building material has the following physical and mechanical properties:

1. Bulk density, equal to 1480 kg/m3;

2. The filtration coefficient is from 0.5 to 1.0 m/day.;

3. Content of pulverized and clay particles by weight / clay in clumps by weight: 3.60% / 0.00%;

4. The modulus of sand size in the composition of the mixture is from 0.8 to 1.5;

5. The specific effective activity of radionuclides is 20.24+-2.78 Bq/kg.

This non-metallic construction material is widely used in the following types of work::

1. Backfilling;

2. Finishing filling of areal objects;

3. Landscaping;

4. Filling of industrial sites;

5. Construction of access roads;

6. Filling of ditches, trenches, etc.
