The dual power concept from Wacker Neuson is an innovative solution for an emission-free auxiliary drive. In addition to the integrated diesel engine, an HPU8 electrohydraulic device can be connected to the compact excavator 803 if necessary. The HPU8 is specifically designed for the 803 excavator. Thus, if necessary, the excavator can operate with an electrohydraulic drive without emissions. Easy to handle: The generator is connected to the undercarriage of the excavator in plug & play auto-configuration mode.

Connection via a 12-meter sleeve with unlimited freedom of movement of the excavator

Compact and practical:
The overall dimensions of 930 x 720 x 1000 mm are ideal for loading. Four sturdy mounting eyelets ensure quick transportation.

Complex construction:
Easy connection in Plug & Play auto-configuration mode on the chassis. The sling bracket is simultaneously used as a connecting tip and guide for HPU8 hydraulic hoses. In just a few movements, it is removed from the generator and connected to the excavator. Placement on the undercarriage means 360° freedom of movement of the excavator.
In 2014, at the Polish Intermasz trade and industrial fair, the dual-power system received a gold medal, which is awarded to special innovative products. The 803 dual-power excavator also received the gold award for innovation at the International Trade and Industry Fair in Paris, France, in 2015. In addition, the dual-power solution received two awards from the British Plantworx Trade and Industry Fair, including the winner in the Green (environmentally friendly technologies) category.
