The diskator with a frontal arrangement of working bodies is designed for continuous and pre-sowing treatment of soils of various mechanical compositions for technical, grain and fodder crops and with crushing and embedding plant residues in the soil (refreshing blackened meadows) in various agrotechnical schemes. The adjustable processing depth ranges from about 8 to 18 cm.

The harrow is aggregated with tractors equipped with a hydraulic system with a capacity from 40 HP (for mounted harrow BDF-1.8) to 110 HP (for BDF-3.1)
