Supply of alluvial / river medium sand

Medium sand Mk 2.0-2.5 is a natural non-metallic building material consisting of sand without the inclusion of foreign contaminants in it. This type of product is produced from the raw materials of a sand-gravel mixture with a gravel content in the sand by weight from 30% to 50%, as a result of its enrichment. The technological process of enriching (sorting) the feedstock, namely the sand-gravel mixture, is carried out using processing equipment. At this stage, clay and pulverized particles are washed out of the feedstock, granulometric fractions of gravel and foreign contaminants are removed, and sand is separated according to its size modulus.

As a result of production and technological processes, this non-metallic building material has the following physical and mechanical properties:

1. Bulk density, equal to 1500 kg/m3;

2. The filtration coefficient is from 3.0 to 8.0 m/day.;

3. The total sand residue on the sieve with mesh No. 0.63 by weight is 34.09%;

4. Content of pulverized and clay particles by weight / clay in clumps by weight: 0.59% / 0.00%;

5. The content of foreign contaminants by weight is 0.00%;

6. The specific effective activity of radionuclides is 20.48+-2.43 Bq/kg.

This non-metallic construction material is widely used in the following types of work::

1. Construction of roads of federal, regional, and local importance. It is used in the formation of road embankments and foundations (drainage layers in road construction);

2. Production of finishing works on pouring floors during the construction and repair of buildings and structures;

3. Concrete production;

4. Production of sand and salt mixtures;

5. Finishing filling of area objects;

6. Landscaping.
