Alluvial sand, sorted Mk 1.5-2.0, is a natural non-metallic construction material regulated by Gost 8736-2014 (Sand for construction work) and Gost 32824-2014 (sand for the construction of public roads), consisting of sand without the inclusion of foreign contaminants in it. This type of product is produced from the raw materials of natural sand (watered), as a result of its washing and enrichment. Natural sand is extracted by a hydromechanized method using a C-42 type dredger, as a result of the technological process, this raw material is washed with a large amount of water, as a result of this technological process, clay and pulverized particles are washed out. The enrichment (sorting) of the feedstock, natural sand, is carried out using processing equipment, at this stage, granulometric fractions of gravel and foreign clogging impurities are removed from the feedstock, and sand is separated according to the grain size modulus.

As a result of production and technological processes, this non-metallic building material has the following physical and mechanical properties:

1. Bulk density, equal to 1400 kg/m3;

2. The filtration coefficient is from 2.0 to 5.0 m/day.;

3. Content of pulverized and clay particles by weight / clay in clumps by weight: 0.55% / 0.00%;

4. The content of foreign contaminants by weight is 0.00%;

5. The specific effective activity of radionuclides is 19.15+-2.50 Bq/kg.

This non-metallic construction material is widely used in the following types of work::

1. Construction of roads of federal, regional, and local importance. It is used in the formation of road embankments and foundations (drainage layers in road construction);

2. Production of finishing works on pouring floors during the construction and repair of buildings and structures;

3. Production of concrete and concrete mixtures;
