Expanded clay in Krasnodar

Expanded clay is widely used in construction. This is due to the qualitative characteristics of the material, which allow it to be used in various construction works. Any home craftsman can easily tell you what expanded clay is. However, such a popular material has its own secrets and peculiarities. These are lightweight ceramic balls with a special porous structure. The raw materials for their production are clay shales and various grades of clays, which are accelerated fired in special furnaces. The result is grains with a caked, very dense shell. Air—filled pores remain inside them - their presence determines the properties of the products. The shape depends on the manufacturing method and can be different. The elements are produced in gradation from an almost regular ball to details similar to a cube. The shape does not affect the characteristics of the product in any way. The sizes also vary. In some cases, a mixture of different fractions is used, which allows, if necessary, to lay the elements as tightly as possible.
