The PBU-2 drilling rig with a mechanically driven movable rotator is designed to solve problems in engineering and geological surveys and implements all drilling technologies with soil sampling.

PBU-2 provides impact rope drilling using hammered cups and ground carriers, core and grain-free "dry" / with flushing / with purging, impact rotary (pneumatic hammers), screw drilling, drilling using holes, and also performs static and dynamic probing of soils.

This installation has various mounting options for transport bases: wheeled (including a double-row cabin), tracked conveyors, tractors, a sledge base, pontoons, etc. The drive options are from a deck engine or from a transport base.
