The Vulkan thermoplastic preparation equipment is designed for melting and kneading thermoplastics immediately before filling into a marking machine. The main elements of the equipment are the thermoplastics tank(s) and the power unit. The transfer of heat generated by a liquid fuel burner to plastic can occur through an intermediate coolant (indirect heating) or directly through the walls of a thermoplastic container (direct heating).
