Alluvial sand is a non–metallic material of natural origin that is used in various economic sectors. It is quarry sand, which is additionally washed down – additional water treatment is provided using special hydromechanical equipment for purification from large fractions, clay and impurities. This makes it homogeneous, improves grain composition, increases technical and operational characteristics and expands the scope of application.

The washed sand is extracted in quarries and in dried riverbeds and washed under strong water pressure, which guarantees an increase in its quality and purity, after which it is sieved on special sieves with different mesh sizes for separation into fractions. Its technical characteristics are regulated by GOST, among them:
