Mounted water-filling rollers are used to destroy large clods of earth, level the surface of the aisles of orchards and vineyards, to improve the air and water exchange of the soil between the rows of gardens, to compact the topsoil to a depth of 10 cm.
For the normal operation of the filling roller (without sticking the earth on the drums), the soil in the plots should have a moisture content of no more than 30%.
