The TM-100 700.38.00.010 temperature sensor for YAMZ-238 and YAMZ-240 Kirovets tractors (all models) looks like a threaded brass bolt. The TM-100 sensor is screwed into the motor housing, which is supplied with a negative voltage, and a single-pin wire connected to the warning lamp is attached to the top of the sensor.

Compatible with the electrical equipment of all Kirovets tractors.

How the TM-100 temperature sensor works

There is a membrane made of a special material inside the sensor. When heated, it closes the sensor contacts, and opens them when cooled. Each sensor operation is signaled by the lamp on the instrument panel 701.38.05.000-1 tractor. The engine temperature sensor 700.38.00.010 is designed for a strictly defined temperature, after which it turns on. Other models (TM-111, TM-100A) will turn on too early or too late.
