Tandem disc harrows (X-shaped design) are designed for cultivating fallow lands (virgin lands), steam treatment, preparing fields for steam or sowing, embedding crop residues and fertilizers in the soil. A number of technological solutions in the design of the X-shaped harrow of the DX series allow achieving unsurpassed results in field processing: a floating drawbar ensures uniform processing, steel spacers between the discs withstand increased loads and prevent the discs from scrolling, the locking moment of the disc batteries is reached 4,339 nm. The T2-215 bearing units used in Rostselmash harrows are considered the best in the industry, they can withstand radial loads up to 10.5 tons.

The load on 1 disc blade makes it easy to penetrate the soil under any conditions. The discs are chamomile and smooth. The blade thickness is 8 mm – for a long and wear-resistant service life of the discs.

The fixed angles of attack of the disc batteries provide the best combination for uniform penetration into the soil and a uniform flow of crop residues.
