Manufacturing features
Expanded clay is made by firing clay in large drum-type furnaces. During firing, the furnaces rotate, which allows a uniform effect on the entire material. The furnaces are installed at a slight angle to the plane, so when loading raw materials in the upper part, it gradually passes into the lower part of the furnace under the influence of gravity. The duration of clay firing is about 45 minutes, which makes it possible to achieve excellent performance.
